About iFast

iFast is an intermittent fasting tracker for iPhone. It times your fast, keeps a streak that survives an off day, and includes a coach that reads your own last thirty days rather than handing out generic advice.

What we claim, and what we do not

iFast is a tracking and wellness app. It is not a medical device, it is not a medical service, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice. We do not promise a weight outcome, because nobody honestly can.

Where the app gives you a number, it names the equation behind it and how far off that number might be. The calorie-burn figure uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation. The body fat estimate uses the US Navy circumference method and is accurate to roughly three to four percent, which is why the app tells you to watch the trend rather than the number.

Ember, the coach

Ember is AI. It reads the fasting, weight, step and meal data in your own account and answers from that. It can be wrong, it will not diagnose anything, it will not adjust your medication, and it will tell you to speak to a clinician for medical decisions.

Who should not fast

Intermittent fasting is not right for everyone. Talk to a clinician before starting if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, have diabetes or another condition affecting blood sugar, or take prescription medication. If fasting is making you feel unwell, stop.

Your data

Your fasting history belongs to you. It syncs to your account so you can open it on any screen, and you can read it on this site by signing in. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Getting in touch

Email simplefasttracker@icecubes.app, or open Settings, then About, then Contact support in the app and it will fill in the details for you. A real person reads it.
